Asharq Al-Awsat Newspaper

Asharq Al-Awsat is the world’s premier pan-Arab daily newspaper, printed simultaneously each day on four continents in 14 cities. Launched in London in 1978, Asharq Al-Awsat has established itself as the decisive publication on pan-Arab and international affairs, offering its readers in-depth analysis and exclusive editorials, as well as the most comprehensive coverage of the entire Arab world.

Asharq Al-Awsat was the first Arabic daily newspaper to use satellite transmission for simultaneous printing in a number of major cities worldwide, and is currently the only newspaper to own the Arabic syndication rights to three renowned international publications, the Washington Post, USA Today, and Global Viewpoint.Balanced and comprehensive, Asharq Al-Awsat is the preferred daily Arabic-language newspaper, with its readership penetrating all socio-economic groups. Salman Aldossary
Mr Aldosary holds a BA in Business Administration and Economics. He started his career in journalism with SRMG in 1998 as a freelance journalist writing for Riyadh-based Al Eqtisadiah newspaper before joining Asharq Al-Awsat as Bahrain correspondent in 2004. In 2006 he was appointed as a senior editor at Asharq Al-Awsat‘s United Arab Emirates bureau. Three years later, Al-Dossary was appointed Assistant Editor-In-Chief of Asharq Al-Awsat at the publication’s headquarters in London. In October 2011, Al-Dossary became the Editor-In-Chief of Al Eqtisadiah.
