On behalf of Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the United Nations, Ambassador Abdulaziz bin Mohamed Al-Wasel, signed on Friday protocols to establish diplomatic relations with the Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of Nauru.
The signings took place at the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom to the UN in New York City.
The step is part of the Saudi leadership's commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation in various fields and building further bridges of understanding with UN member states.
It also reflects the belief in the importance of collective international action by strengthening relations and international partnerships with countries and organizations.
This aligns with supporting international peace and security, achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs), and aligning with the ambitious Saudi Vision 2030.
