Saudi Defense Minister Meets with Several Heads of Leading French Industrial Companies

Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz held a meeting in Paris on Wednesday with several heads of leading French industrial companies as part of his official visit to France.

They reviewed promising cooperation opportunities in the field of military industries, research and development, as well as technology transfer and localization in accordance with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

Prince Khalid had kicked off his visit with a meeting with his French counterpart Sebastien Lecornu.

In a post on the X platform, Prince Khalid said he reviewed with Lecornu “our strategic relations, defense cooperation and shared vision for regional security and stability.”

He revealed that they presided over the signing of an executive plan for “cooperation on capabilities, military industries, and R&D” between the Saudi Defense Ministry and French Ministry of Armed Forces.

The leadership of Saudi Arabia has sent heartfelt congratulations and well-wishes to Oman on National and to Morocco on the occasion of Independence Day, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday.
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, sent separate cables congratulating Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tarik, on his country's National Day.
The Saudi leadership wished the sultan of Oman continued good health, and the government and people of Oman steady progress and prosperity, praising the distinguished fraternal relations that bind the two countries.
The Saudi leadership also congratulated King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco on his country's Independence Day.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince wished the king of Morocco continued good health and happiness, and the government and people of Morocco steady progress and prosperity.
