Qatar's prime minister denounced Israel on Sunday as foreign ministers from Arab and Muslim nations met to discuss a possible unified response to Israel's attack on Doha targeting the leadership of the group Hamas.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, who also serves as Qatar's foreign minister, made the comments ahead of a meeting Monday of leaders from those nations.

Sheikh Mohammed said Qatar remained committed to working with Egypt and the United States to reach a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war that's devastated the Gaza Strip after Hamas' Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel. However, he stressed the time had come for consequences to Israel's attacks in the wider Middle East amid the conflict.

“It is time for the international community to stop applying double standards and punish Israel for all the crimes it has committed,” Sheikh Mohammed said in footage later released by Qatar's government from the closed-door meeting.

There was no immediate response from Israel, which is hosting US Secretary of State Marco Rubio this weekend.

However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday night again defended the strike.

“The Hamas terrorists chiefs living in Qatar don’t care about the people in Gaza,” he wrote on the social platform X. “They blocked all ceasefire attempts in order to endlessly drag out the war. Getting rid of them would rid the main obstacle to releasing all our hostages and ending the war.”

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) delivered a new batch of food aid to the eastern Deir al-Balah area in central Gaza Strip through its Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage, as part of the ongoing Saudi fundraising campaign to support the Palestinian people.

KSrelief's extensive efforts include the establishment of an air and sea bridge, through which 71 planes and eight ships have arrived to date, carrying more than 7,655 tons of food, medical supplies, and shelter materials, SPA reported.

Furthermore, 20 ambulances were delivered to the Palestine Red Crescent Society.

KSrelief also signed agreements worth $90.35 million with international organizations to implement relief projects in the Gaza Strip.

The center has conducted airdrops in partnership with Jordan to bypass the closure of border crossings and ensure the consistent delivery of aid.

The United Arab Emirates is preparing to increase aid deliveries into Gaza, an envoy said on Friday, saying a sea corridor from Cyprus was essential alongside land and air access.

Minister of State Lana Nusseibeh said a maritime route channelling pre-screened aid from the East Mediterranean island was a vital lifeline to the people of Gaza. The UAE has partnered with Cyprus in supplying large quantities of aid to the Palestinian enclave, devastated by a two-year war, Reuters reported.

"Maintaining multiple entry points into Gaza remains incredibly important," Nusseibeh said after an inspection of aid accumulating at the port of Limassol in Cyprus.

"As this plan moves forward, access to Gaza by land, air and sea is going to remain critical," she told reporters.

Israel and Palestinian militant group Hamas agreed a month ago to a first phase of a plan presented by US President Donald Trump. It paused a devastating two-year war in Gaza triggered by a cross-border attack by Hamas militants on October 7, 2023, and secured a deal to release Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners.

Despite the ceasefire, far too little aid was reaching Gaza, humanitarian agencies said on Tuesday.

Some 22,000 tons of pre-screened aid has been dispatched from Cyprus under the Amalthea Initiative launched last year. Some of it reached Gaza directly via a short-lived temporary pier set up by the US last year, while other shipments have been dispatched to the port of Ashdod in Israel.

The Saudi leadership extended condolences to the President of the Philippines over the victims of Typhoon Kalmaegi, that left tens dead after it struck the central part of the country.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud sent a cable of condolences to Philippines President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr. expressing his sincere condolences and sympathy, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Friday.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, sent a similar cable to Marcos Jr.

He expressed his condolences to the president, the families of the deceased, and the friendly people of the Philippines, wishing for the safe return of the missing and speedy recovery for the injured.
