Falcon Plastic Products Co., a subsidiary of Mohammed Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi & Sons Holding Co., has recently celebrated the Silver Jubilee for its 25th year of partnership with American company ABRO Industries for the manufacture of adhesive tapes.
ABRO President Peter F. Baranay valued the firm 25-year history of communication with Falcom.
Baranay said the history and activity shared with ABRO and its products rank top profile among US businesses.
He expressed pride in the relationship, explaining that the trademark officially awarded to Falcon in 1993 was the first to be given to a brand of adhesive tapes outside the United States.
Falcon CEO Faisal Haddawi stressed the role of industry and its contribution to economic prosperity and self-sufficiency.
Local manufacturing helps provide products at reasonable prices, cutting costs on the need to import similar goods from other countries, he added.
Haddawi said that Falcon is in the process of obtaining licenses from European and American companies to take on new products in an effort to harmonize with the Saudi Arabia’s economic diversification stipulated by the Kingdom vision 2030.
Falcon has obtained the ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 and 22000 certificates and its products are also certified by SABIC.
