Sisi Mourns Passing of UAE's Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed

Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi mourned on Friday the death of the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

"He was a men of men and among the greatest of leaders," he said in a post on his official Facebook page.

He remarked that Sheikh Khalifa had dedicated his life to his country and nation, leading the UAE "to become an example of development and modernity in our region and world."

He hailed the late leader's love for Egypt, describing him as a "loyal friend."

Sisi offered Egypt's condolences to the UAE, its leadership and people.

The UAE had declared Sheikh Khalifa's death on Friday.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has sent a cable of congratulations to the President of Tunisia, Kais Saied, on his country's Republic Day.
King Salman wished President Saied continued good health and happiness and the government and people of Tunisia steady progress and prosperity.
For his part, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud also sent a cable of congratulations to President Saied wishing him continued good health and happiness and the government and people of Tunisia steady progress and prosperity.
