Arab Parliament Denounces Terrorist Attack in Mogadishu

The Arab Parliament denounced the terrorist attack in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, which resulted in dozens of casualties, the Saudi Press Agency said on Sunday.
In a statement, the Arab Parliament affirmed solidarity with the Federal Republic of Somalia in its fight against terrorism, stressing its rejection of all forms of terrorism aimed at destabilizing security and stability in the region.
It offered condolences to the government, parliament and people of Somalia, particularly to the families of the victims, and wished speedy recovery to the injured.
On Friday, at least 37 civilians were killed and 212 were injured in an explosion at a popular beach restaurant in the Somali capital.

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist attack in Mogadishu, the capital of the Federal Republic of Somalia, which resulted in the death and injury of tens of people.
In a statement, it said the Kingdom affirm its position of rejecting violence, extremism, and targeting civilians.

The Kingdom also asserts that it stands with the government and people of the Federal Republic of Somalia in this incident, SPA reported.

The statement further said that the Kingdom expresses its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and the government and people of Somalia, and wishes those injured a speedy recovery.
