Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz sent on Monday a cable of condolences to Morocco’s King Mohammed VI over the victims of the road accident in the Azilal province.
He extended his sincere condolences and sympathy to the monarch, families of the deceased and Moroccan people.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, sent King Mohammed a similar cable.
At least 24 people were killed in a bus crash Sunday in Azilal in central Morocco, marking one of the deadliest such accidents in recent years in the country.
According to local authorities, cited by Morocco's official news agency MAP, the accident happened when a minibus carrying passengers overturned at a curve while en route to the weekly market in the small town of Demnate, in central Morocco.
