Yemen's Vice President General Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar said the Houthis are suffering a setback, noting that the legitimacy and the Saudi-led Arab Coalition have plans to liberate every inch of Yemeni territories from the armed militias.

Ahmar stated that Iran exported its revolution and destruction to Yemen and its people, noting that Tehran tore apart the Yemeni community, the region and the Arab countries confessionally.

Iran has also a plan to shake security and stability, in addition to having hostile intentions to establish a Persian state.

On the sidelines of his visit to King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Work (KSRelief) on Thursday, he said that history will remember the humanitarian work of the Saudi leadership, government, people and the center.

On the battlefield, Ahmar said: “The enemy is defeated.

He lauded efforts of the center in sheltering the displaced and treating the wounded as well as contributing to combating cholera.

KSRelief General Supervisor Dr. Abdullah al-Rabiah, in his turn, presented a detailed explanation of the center’s efforts in Yemen. He said following the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the center prioritizes humanitarian aid and relief work in Yemen.

The biggest evidence in that regard is that 85 percent of the center’s projects are focused on alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people.

Saudi Arabia has so far allocated more than USD10.9 billion to Yemen in various aspects, Rabiah stated.

An explosion at a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department training facility has killed three deputies, local media reported on Friday, though officials have yet to confirm any deaths.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department said an explosion occurred at the Biscailuz Center Academy Training in East Los Angeles. The spokesperson said the cause was under investigation and that they were not yet ready to confirm any deaths or injuries, Reuters reported.

The Los Angeles Times newspaper, citing unnamed law enforcement sources, reported that three deputies were killed in the blast, which took place when a bomb squad moved some explosives.

Hilda Solis, who serves on the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, said in a written statement that "my heart goes out to the families, friends, and colleagues of the three individuals who lost their lives in what appears to have been a devastating explosion."

US Attorney General Pam Bondi wrote on social media that she had spoken with Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna along with US Attorney for the Central District of California Bill Essayli "about what appears to be a horrific incident that killed at least three at a law enforcement training facility in Los Angeles."

Bondi said that federal agents were at the scene and working to learn more.
